The Site offers a free, browser-based VAT/GST calculator that adds or removes VAT at the standard rate for 55+ countries, along with related educational content about VAT, its history, country policies and rates. All calculations are performed within your browser; the figures you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Not tax advice

The Site provides a calculator and general information for educational purposes only. It does not provide tax, accounting, financial or legal advice, and no advisory relationship is created by using it. VAT/GST rates, thresholds, exemptions and rules vary by product and jurisdiction and change over time; reduced and zero rates apply to many goods. 3. Accuracy and limitations

Our calculator uses the standard add/remove VAT formulas with the rate you select or enter. The built-in country rates are standard national rates for 2025/26 and may be out of date or superseded, and many items qualify for reduced or zero rates not reflected here. Verify the exact rate and treatment with the local tax authority. Use all results at your own discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You may use our calculators freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or resell our written content or calculator code without permission.
